By combining clinical expertise with cutting-edge tools, we ensure every patient receives care that is efficient, comfortable, and results-driven.

Digital orthodontics at Hansen Orthodontics in El Paso

Digital orthodontics starts with how we look at your teeth. Instead of relying on traditional molds, our team captures detailed digital information, so Dr. Nathan Hansen can plan your care with precision. Here is how each piece of orthodontic technology fits into your visit.

CBCT imaging for detailed views

CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) imaging gives highly detailed views of the teeth, jaw and surrounding structures, which supports accurate diagnosis and precision in treatment planning. It is part of how we evaluate children for Phase 1 early treatment and how we approach airway orthodontics. For general information about dental X-rays, see MouthHealthy’s X-rays guide.

Intraoral scanner: digital impressions instead of molds

An intraoral scanner replaces traditional molds with a comfortable, mess-free digital impression. It is fast and precise, and it is used at your first visit to build a fully personalized treatment plan. You can read more on our patient resources page.

3D printing orthodontics: custom-fitted appliances

Our advanced 3D printing capabilities let us create custom-fitted appliances tailored to each patient’s unique anatomy and treatment goals. 3D printing is also part of the story behind Spark clear aligners, which are made from TruGEN™ material and designed with Spark™ Approver software.
