Meet Amy Whitesides

Brand & Practice Manager

Amy Whitesides is the driving force behind the brand, culture, and growth of Hansen Orthodontics & Aesthetics. Her mission: to amplify the patient experience, strengthen the practice identity, and foster a warm, cohesive team environment.

Raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Amy brings a bilingual (Spanish / English) sensibility and a global perspective to her work. She earned her degree in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations from Utah Valley University, and since then has spent 9 years in the dental/orthodontic space, honing her skills in branding, marketing, public relations, social media, and office culture.

Through her role, she not only leads the in-house marketing strategy at Hansen but also travels to conferences and offices nationwide—teaching and consulting on branding, patient communications, and marketing best practices.

More Than Just Marketing

Amy plays a central role in shaping how the practice feels from the inside out. She oversees everything from patient messaging and social content to staff morale, office flow, and the visual identity of the practice. Her dual focus on branding and operations ensures that everything feels consistent, intentional, and welcoming.

Personal Life & Passions

At home, Amy is a devoted mother to two daughters, Alina and Aria, who inspire her daily. Outside of work, you’ll often find her with her nose in a good book, dancing to Latin rhythms, or humming along to country music. Her guiding motto, “Free as the Ocean,” reflects her commitment to authenticity, creativity, and connection.
